Description
Kenosha Lighthouse Beacon by Dale Kauzlaric -- The sunrise was beautiful, but cold on this spring morning. It started cloudless in the east. A small band of clouds moved towards the sun as it was rising. I waited until the sun reached the top of the Kenosha lighthouse, to act as its beacon. As I watch this unfolding, a pillar above the sun was visible. The light from the sun appears to reach up to touch the clouds. -- dalekphotography.com

Dale, Congratulations on your Feature in "No Place Like Home." I am always taken by great perspective and ones like this with the backdrop of a cloudy sky at sunrise....and... the perfect lineup of the sun behind the Lighthouse, spectacular!!!

I love this ground level capture. It makes it look like the pier is level with the water. Well done! l/f
