Dale Kauzlaric Photography's image "Late Afternoon On Boot Creek" was recently selected as the grand prize winner for the People's State Bank 2021 Calendar. Peoples State Bank is state-wide with locations from Vilas County to Milwaukee. This image of taken near Eagle River in November 2019. This was the start to our winter with heavy snow and all of its beauty. Dale Kauzlaric Photography's image "Cloudy Sunrise Over A Spring Fed Pond " was recently selected to be included in Discover Wisconsin's 2019 calendar for the month of March. Discover Wisconsin is a Wisconsin-based television show highlighting travel destinations throughout the State. On this particular March day, I was going to get up in the predawn to capture the milky way. When I got up, I looked outside and it was cloudy. I went back to bed for a couple of hours and got up for the sunrise. I went to the same general area with the same cloudiness. I was hoping for a break in the clouds at sunup. I setup in front of this pond and as it got light out, the sky was covered in these stratocumulus clouds. Just as the sun was hitting the horizon, there was a slight crack for the sun to shine. Dale Kauzlaric Photography's image "Kenosha Lighthouse Beacon" was recently featured on Discover Wisconsin's Facebook page promoting the City of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Discover Wisconsin is a Wisconsin-based television show highlighting travel destinations throughout the State. This image was taken during an excursion from dawn to midmorning, featuring the sunrise on that cold April day. In this image, the sun was used as the beacon for the lighthouse. The sun's rays apparently reacting with the ice crystals in the air, appear to touch the clouds. This image along with the series of images from that morning are available for purchase in a variety of formats and sizes.
